GAA stars and equestrian winners, international heroes and local legends, team players and title holders from across DIT all came together for the 15th annual DIT Sports Awards ceremony held at the Gleeson Theatre in DIT Kevin Street, Dublin on April 19.
The Fit2Go Club’s annual triathlon event took place last week in DIT Kevin Street with a total of 24 people participating in the event. Students and Staff competed against each other in a sprint triathlon which consisted of 750m swim (41 lengths of the swimming pool), 15 km on the bike and 5km on the treadmill.
Fit2Go Club is closing for a major refurbishment and upgrade on the 18th of May 2012. The Club will re-open with the addition of a new spin studio, high performance strength and conditioning area and upgraded changing facilities after a 14 week construction build time.
